Our latest quick-and-easy quilting challenge was to create two unique and super-cute (but ridiculously easy) Irish-inspired mug rugs to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Even though the day of the shamrock has passed us by for the year, you can still follow along, step-by-step, at your own pace.
1. Create a Lucky Shamrock mug rug – super-easy, perfect project for the complete quilting newbie, project can be completed in less than an hour!
2. Next, try the Leprechaun Hat mug rug. This one is just a teensy bit trickier, but is still perfect for newbies, and can be completed – stress-free – in an hour!
3. Create both mug rugs for a quick and easy project that’s perfect for beginners, kids, and has step-by-step video instructions…all available FREE!

Please welcome the latest seam ripper champion, the last master of disaster for 2019. Jolene’s amazing story of a home ec disaster is worthy of a medal!
Fabric art, like life, doesn’t always work out like we expect. Bree Reza has won the Seam Ripper Championship for her tale of woe and artistic trouble!
Be careful of knowing what you’re doing – that’s the moral of this story. Learn how Karyl won top slot in the disaster field by trying to go a pattern alone
2020 is a year for unexpected, unplanned changes to our lives. Please help us celebrate by sharing your stories of fabric art disaster – quilting, crochet, felting, etc. – and MOST IMPORTANTLY how you overcame and created something beautiful…
